Harlem Globetrotter’s Day is observed on January 7th every year across the United States. Harlem Globetrotters is the name of the African-American basketball team which was formed in 1926. The 7th of January was chosen as it was the organization date of their first road game in Hinckley, Illinois in 1927. *
